For much of my life, music and dance gave me the opportunity to connect with people around the world. Performing as a professional entertainer with the Grammy Award-winning group " The Pointer Sisters" taught me the power of presence, resilience, and human connection. While music continues to nourish my soul, my life's work has grown into something rooted in service.
Today, my focus is centered on restoration.
I believe meaningful change begins by reconnecting with ourselves—physically, emotionally, mentally, and within our communities. Through movement, education, advocacy, and accessible wellness, I strive to create spaces where people are supported in rediscovering their strength, dignity, and sense of purpose.
As a certified 200-hour yoga teacher and certified herbalist, I facilitate trauma-informed yoga through Prison Yoga Project, supporting embodied awareness, self-reflection, and personal growth with incarcerated individuals. I also participate in outreach efforts serving unhoused communities and share practical, holistic approaches to health and wellness that are accessible in everyday life.
My commitment to restoration also extends to the organizations and initiatives I am building. The Black Pepper Project was created to support survivors of human trafficking through embodied awareness, education, practical life skills, and long-term restoration. Safety First Wearables uses fashion as a symbol, resilience, and solidarity, transforming everyday design into meaningful conversation and awareness. Life's Essential Takeaway promotes natural wellness while growing toward a broader vision of expanding access to food, health education, and community resources.
BPP is an advocacy and embodied awareness program created to support survivors of human trafficking as they reconnect with themselves and build a foundation for life beyond exploitation. Through a structured curriculum led by professionals in wellness, law, finance, education, and advocacy, participants are introduced to practical skills, trauma-informed practices, community resources, and holistic approaches that support healing and long-term stability. BPP is founded on the belief that education, embodied awareness, and access to the right support can help individuals rediscover a sense of safety within themselves while creating opportunities for a more independent and self-directed future.

Growth doesn't happen without roots. Every generation inherits wisdom, reshapes it through its own experiences, and passes it forward. While the language may evolve, the lessons often remain the same—connection, resilience, community, and caring for one another. Perhaps we're not discovering something entirely new, but finding new ways to remember what has always mattered.
Meaningful relationships remind us that wellness is nurture through belonging, conversation, and shared experiences.
Lessons worth remembering and wisdom worth sharing.
Small choices made consistently often create the greatest transformation.
